Responsibilities:

• Operate a Snow Plow Truck to service the City of Markham streets (highways not included).
• Must be available to be on call 24/7 during the winter season (November 2026 to April 2027).

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid DZ (or AZ) license, with an acceptable driver’s abstract and CVOR record (which will be reviewed prior to offering employment).
• Previous plow experience isn’t required, but is an asset.
• Previous truck driving experience is required.
• Committed and dependable, and able to work varying hours, days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.

Compensation:  This position includes a weekly on-call rate, as well as an hourly rate for the time spent plowing ($35/hr).
