Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QC Lab Technician is responsible for performing testing while maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Primary duties include testing & sample collection in the field at various jobsites within Toronto and the GTA (a company vehicle is provided for travel between sites).
• Participate in activities related to the quality system, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the civil industry or in a laboratory environment is an asset.
• Strong commitment to Health and Safety.
• The ability to lift at least 50lbs on a regular basis is required.
• Comfortable working outdoors.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage and prioritize workload.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work flexible & long shifts.

***Must have a valid Ontario G-class Driver’s License with an acceptable driver’s abstract.

Location:

• In-person at our Scarborough location (70 Passmore Avenue, Toronto, ON)

Seasonality:

• Our season is operational from April to December. During the winter months, snow removal positions are available.

Compensation:

• Starting at $23.00/hour, overtime after 50 hours per week.
