Halton Crushed Stone is a dynamic aggregate supplier looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Labourer to join our team.

The candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience working in either a construction or aggregate environment.  They should be physically able to perform hands-on physical labour job tasks throughout the day.

Job tasks include:

• This position is responsible for using the Loader to safely load trucks with aggregate materials, as well as using other equipment including a grader, water truck, and skid steer.
• Responsible for running the wash plant and screening plant.
• General plant operations (crushers, screening plants and wash plants)
• Equipment start up and shut down
• Assisting with general plant maintenance
• General site clean-up on a daily basis as well as during plant set-up or dismantle
• Loading materials into a crusher, wash plant, screening plant, rock trucks and/or customer trucks
• Using a variety of tools/heavy equipment to assist with daily tasks: torches, hand/power tools, skid steers, etc.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a Loader is required.
• Must have some experience or familiarity with wash plants and screening plants.
• Ability to work in a fact paced environment, and able to follow specific instructions.
